Bachelor of Physiotherapy(BPT)

Bachelor of Physiotherapy(BPT) is a four-year undergraduate professional course that deals with the science of physical movement and channelising it to prevent disability and diseases of movement. Physiotherapy or physical therapy is an allied health profession that helps people increase, maintain or restore their physical mobility, function, and strength. This science makes use of electrotherapy, evidence-based kinesiology, exercise prescription and shockwave mobility to treat chronic conditions of the bones and soft tissues.

Course Objective: Physiotherapy is the branch of Medical service associated with the field of Rehabilitation. Studying Physiotherapy will enable you to work as a health professional. Demand of skilled and qualified physiotherapists are increasing in the organized health sector. The BPT degree qualification of India is accredited in many developed countries. Subjects to Study: A physiotherapy student studies various medical subject like anatomy, physiology, bio-chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, pathology, psychology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery and neurology along with biomechanics, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, research, static, computer and medical ethics.

Duration of Course : 4 Years & 6 months of internship

(10+2) Passed with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English from any recognized board.All seats shall be filled up from the JENPAS-UG.
